Quick Setup Guide

1Connect Klaviyo Trigger

  • Log in to Zapier and create new Zap
  • Search for "Klaviyo" and select it as trigger
  • Choose trigger event: "New Profile" or "Updated Profile"
  • Connect your Klaviyo account
  • Configure any additional trigger settings
  • Test trigger to pull sample profile

2Verify Email

  • Click "+" to add action step
  • Search for "MyEmailVerifier"
  • Choose action: "Verify Email"
  • Connect your MyEmailVerifier account with API key
  • Map the "Email Address" field from Klaviyo profile
  • Test to see verification results

3Filter for Valid Emails

Add a Filter step to only continue when email is valid:

  • Click "+" to add a Filter step
  • Choose "Filter by Zapier"
  • Set condition: "Status" exactly matches "valid"
  • Test the filter to ensure it works correctly

Note: This prevents invalid and risky emails from updating your Klaviyo profiles.

4Update Profile with Verification Status

  • Click "+" to add final action
  • Search for Klaviyo and select: "Update Profile"
  • Map email address from the trigger step
  • Add custom property: verified_status = "Verified-Valid"
  • Optional: Add verification_date or email_quality properties
  • Test the action to confirm profile is updated

5Test & Launch

  • Add a test profile with valid email
  • Verify Zap triggers and profile property is updated correctly
  • Test with invalid email to confirm filter blocks it
  • Turn on your Zap to start automatic verification
  • Monitor Zap history for smooth operation
